Cade Foehner, the Texas rocker with the enviable flowing hair from last season's American Idol, has a new single and video titled "Southern Hallelujah." He will be promoting his new music in Lufkin with a live concert at the George Henderson Center on April 19.

Foehner, a Shelbyville, Texas native, came to fame as a Top 5 contender on American Idol. At the same time, he began a relationship with the third place finisher, Gabby Barrett. In an odd coincidence, the top two finishers last season also are in a relationship (winner Maddie Poppe and runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson).

The talented singer is also an accomplished guitarist. Foehner is very open about his Christian faith, and his new video and single have been widely covered in Christian media - including the most popular magazine in Christian music, CCM Magazine.

The new single "Southern Hallelujah" was released with an accompanying music video below. The video, which features stellar production and soaring lyrics and a Gospel choir is a triumph for the young artist.
