The campus of LSU is once again host to the Red River Balloon Rally Festival, which is one of the greatest events in the Ark-La-Tex region.
The fourth annual event takes place in Shreveport from July 12-13.
Promoters have said the special shape balloons are "out of this world."
So they have said you don't want to miss balloons like Yellow Bird, Rocket the Flying Squirrel, Darth Vader, Yoda and even a Pirate Ship.
The main event is seeing more than 30 hot air balloons above you glowing all at once in the beautiful night sky.
There will also be a major balloon competition which is part of the U.S. Southeast Regional Hot Air Balloon Championship. Forty balloons will try to hit a specific target on LSU, and they cannot touch the ground while doing it.
From July 9 to July 15, you can also see balloons in daily competitions around the community.
No Red River Balloon Rally Festival is complete without great food!
Each and every night of the event, you will find great entertainment, delicious food vendors and sellers of unique goods and services.
There will also be tethered balloon rides, a kite flying demonstration, skydiving demonstration and the well-known Kidz Fun Zone.
If that's not enough, you will also see a fantastic fireworks show brought to you by the people at Pyromania Fireworks.
